As an editor with 7+ years of experience in editing, publishing, acquisitions, and more, there is nothing I love more than getting my hands on someone's work and making it sing, and be the best it can be within the vision you have for it. I love stories that need to be told, ones that haven't been told yet, and ones where the passion in the writing is palpable.

Developmental editing doesn't look at your project line by line like copyediting. Instead, we look at large-scale areas to return to in your manuscript: inconsistencies, plot holes, pacing troubles, patterns in your writing. We address what your project may need structurally. Developmental edits from me include margin notes and a thorough editorial letter outlining what is working in your manuscript and what to return to, giving you a clear path of your next revision from a fresh pair of eyes that have experience and market knowledge.
